The Club is absolutely delighted to announce that we have been successful in an application for a Sport Wales Energy Saving grant.
The grant money received is £15500 and pays towards a large amount of the costs for us to install solar panels at the Clubhouse. We are lucky that all the additional costs will be covered by the kind donations by sponsors of the Club who we cannot thank enough.
This will have a significant impact on our energy costings in the future.
The Club wishes to put on record their sincere thanks to Jason Barnes and Leon Prosser for submitting the application and Alan Norris for then getting the project over the line. Also, a huge thanks to the WRU and Sport Wales for their support in the process.
We will be looking to start the work with the solar panels at the earliest opportunity.
