Lewis Jones To Hit Ton For Cardiff Blues

Everybody at the Club sends out their massive congratulations and best wishes to one of our favourite sons Lewis Jones who will make his 100th appearance for Cardiff Blues against Lyon at the Arms Park today.

Lewis played all his mini and junior rugby at the Club and played for the 1st XV at a very young age. During his time at the Club he gained a Wales under 16 cap. He also went on to win caps for Wales at the under 18 and 20's level.

He has played Premiership rugby for both Cardiff and Pontypridd and was awarded man of the match in the final of the 2011 Swalec Cup for the latter.

He has been in the Cardiff Blues set up since 2011 and was the youngest person to win 50 caps for the region.

He also won his first Wales sevens cap in May 2015.

At just 26 years of age he has quite an impressive CV.

Despite achieving all of the above, Lewis has never fogotten his roots. He is a proud coach of the under 8's where he proudly watches over his nephew Harri and many other talented children. He is also seen at the Clubhouse or the ground on match days when he has a break in his schedule.

The Club are very proud of all his achievements and we all wish him well today and in the future.
