Hard Work Coming To Fruition At Mount Pleasant

The summer may be a period of rest for most rugby teams back room staff, but that hasn't been the case at Beddau for a group of hard working individuals.

Chris Goodfield, Clive Dowsett, Mal Davies, Grant Blake and Mervyn Roberts have all been giving up their time to ensure that the Mount Pleasant Park playing surface returns to the best possible state after its poor look throughout last season.

Last summers hot weather prevented RCT Council from getting the results they required on areas of the field. Several areas had been seeded but unfortunately it could not recieve the round the clock care that it needed.

So this year the quintet were determined not to let the field get into the same mess and the results are already clear to see with the ground already looking a lot greener. With two months to go still till the big kick off there is real high hopes that the ground could return to its best.

The Club wishes to put on record their sincere thanks to all those that have helped and continue to help, it will certainly make a difference.
