Our 2nd XV were beaten by a last second kick in the local derby at Llantrisant on Saturday in a Worthington Mid District Championship fixture.
Tries from Gareth Hopkins (2) and Jordan Goodwin along with a conversion by Arwel Powell and fourteen points from the boot of Owen Cotter seemed to have been enough to get the Green and Golds the victory but indiscipline again became their curse as the Black Army slotted the penalty kick to take the bragging rights by 31-30.
The 2nds have no scheduled fixture this week but are looking to arrange a game before the International break.
