Our 2nd XV, the Chuckles, warmed up for their Ivor Williams Cup final with a good 49-31 win at Bargoed last Saturday.
The game was more like a training game as both teams gave players some game time but it was the green and golds who come out on top with some excellent tries.
Chris Rees, Ollie Thomas and Will Reeves all crossed for a try double while there were also scores from Ben Dummett, Travis Warhurst and Kallum Bundy. Prop Gerwyn Powell managed a conversion as did Kallum Bundy.
There is a break this weekend for the Chuckles before their final on May 11th.
