Slater & Chatham Earn Club Caps

Prior to the lockdown the Club decided that they were to award players for their loyalty. There was a decision made to award players with 50 appearances a tankard, 100 appearances a framed jersey and 150+ games a Club cap.

The Club were looking forward to carrying out their first presentation of the caps but due to restrictions it couldn’t go ahead but the plan is to do it as soon as possible.

The first recipients had their photographs taken prior to lockdown and we are pleased to take this opportunity to congratulate both Glenn Slater, who has played over 350 games for the Club, and Hywel Chatham who has appeared over 150 times in a green and gold jersey.

Going forward the Club will continue to do this and also reward players who have given us an incredible service in the past. A huge congratulations to the first recipients Glenn and Hywel and thank you for your time and efforts for the Club.

Pictured is Club Chairman Mal Davies presenting both Glenn and Hywel with their caps prior to lockdown.
