Our 1st XV won a tight and hugely entertaining affair with Cardiff Met at Mount Pleasant Park on Friday night to keep their hopes of promotion to the new Community Premiership alive.
The green and gold back division finished off some excellent scores with the impressive Fin Baker and Owain Cotter both grabbing a brace and James Davies completing a good team move. Callum Wheeler was successful with a conversion and penalty.
Although the backs took the glory with the tries this was a game that was definitely hard fought for up front with both sides going at each other until the final whistle which ended with a 30-24 win for Beddau.
A good crowd gathered for this last home game of the season and the boys will be hoping for similar support for their final game of the season at Rumney on Tuesday April 30th.
