1st XV Face Big Bedwas Challenge

Our 1st XV will play their first home WRU Specsavers National Championship fixture of the season tomorrow as they welcome Bedwas to Mount Pleasant Park.

Bedwas travel to Beddau full of confidence after two excellent wins in their opening couple of games. They started the season with a big 41-9 home win over Cross Keys and followed that up with an emphatic 78-5 win at Tata Steel in the National Cup last weekend.

The Green and Golds will also be going into the game with a lot of confidence after last weekends memorable Cup win over Bridgend and battling performance at Pontypool on the opening Saturday of the weekend.

The coaching group have made four changes to that of the starting line up of last wekeend. Tyler Wells misses out with a facial injury which allows Keiran Gay to return to the midfield. Up front Ben Lee returns at tighthead with Luke Jones struggling with a shoulder injury and Sol Khan makes his first start for the Club at hooker. Ross Barnes also returns to the side in the second row.

Kick-off is 2.30pm and match referee is Mr Carwyn Williams (Swansea).
