The lockdown has been a tough period for us all and hopefully that light at the end of the tunnel is now approaching.

We hope that our memories, old programmes and virtual rugby teams have kept you entertained during these hard times.

Over the last few months we have been extremely lucky to have found a huge amount of history about the Club which dates back to 1897. We have stored all this information and are proud to announce that we will be publishing a book on the history of our Club in conjunction with another special announcement in due course.

As a taster we are pleased to name the first ever Beddau XV that we have on record that played in a local derby against Llantrisant in 1897 which ended in a draw for today's virtual rugby game over on twitter against Llangadog.

Our Club holds a lot of great memories and if anybody has any old photographs, programmes, newspaper reports etc that you think may help with our publication further then it would be fantastic to hear from you and hopefully we can take some copies of these images.

We have had a great past which we will never forget. Thanks to these people we have the foundations to build an equally great future.
