Our Youth XV put up a brave performance yesterday against a hugely talented Cardiff Met side at Cyncoed but left the capital empty handed.

The young Green and Golds defended resolutely in the opening period after sustained Student pressure and went in at the interval just 10-0 down. Again in the second half the more experienced Met side threw the kitchen sink at Beddau which resulted in further scores to make the final score 24-0 to the home team.

There are again lots of positives to take from this reverse that will help this young side and the development of individual players. Cardiff Met are a very good side who are now building up steam after a slow start to the season and will be the team to watch again at the end of the season.
