Rumney Tie As Youth Have Fixture Change

Our Youth XV will now travel to Rumney this Saturday in the Blues Premiership (Blues Section) after their scheduled league fixture at Cardiff Met was postponed due to the Students being involved in WRU Youth National Cup action.

The young Green and Golds will travel to the Riverside hoping to banish the disappointment of last weekends tight and agonising loss to Lampeter in the WRU Plate and return to winning ways.

This will be their first league fixture in over a month, and they know a win on Saturday could see them jump up to fifth place in the league table.

But they know that any trip to Rumney is always a tough one. The hosts have not had a good start to the season according to their league results, but their performances have certainly deserved more. They have played three league games and suffered narrow losses to Aberdare (26-13), Abercynon (25-19) and Cardiff Quins (19-14). They have though enjoyed an excellent 22-0 win over a good Cowbridge outfit in the WRU Youth Cup.

It promises to be yet another good tight game between the sides in a game that kicks off at 2.30pm.
