The funeral of Riaz Majothi will take place on Friday the 4th June at South Wales Islamic Centre, Bute Town, Cardiff. 

Parking at the Mosque is extremely limited

Riaz will be leaving his house at roughly 10am should you wish to line the street to see him leave.

You will be able to pay your individual last respects to Riaz at the Islamic centre from roughly 11am.

Please be aware that upon entry of the Mosque you will be required to take your shoes off

At 1pm the Friday prayer will take place which is completely unrelated to Riaz’ ceremony. 

Shortly after the Friday Prayer there will be a short funeral prayer for Riaz before he makes his way to his final resting place at Western Cemetery in Ely (please be advised that it is men only at the grave side. Women will be allowed at the cemetery but they must stay a respectable distance away from the grave until the burial is complete - at this point they may attend to pay their respects) 

Dress code for men is individual choice, although We will be wearing standard funeral attire

Dress code for women is standard funeral attire again but please be respectful of religion and make sure your arms and legs are covered along with wearing a head scarf 

If you wish to bring flowers then please only place them graveside after the service has finished
