Incredible Turnout On Emotional Day

Over 150 cyclists took part yesterday in the Club's Annual Charity bike ride from Prothcawl to Beddau.

This year's ride turned out to be a hugely emotional  as it was a tribute to the founder of the event Lee Caddy as well as others that had sadly passed away in recent months at the Club.

The 150 riders and support staff plus supporters were all dressed in Caddy's favourite colour pink. There was a fitting tribute from Nicola Griffiths, an extremely close friend of Lee's, before the cyclists left Beddau. This was followed by a minutes silence and the lovely tribute of releasing pink balloons up over Beddau where Lee would ride his bike every day.

Massive congratulations must go out to all who took part in the event and the way that they behaved and the various spots where they stopped to raise money and have a refreshement or two!!

The Club is still and will be in mourning for some time but what is evident and shining through at the moment is the sheer pride in the Club and Community at the moment.

More detials to follow..........
