Player Profile - Richard Evans

The first of this season's player profiles is Richard Evans. Turbo as he is known is a huge character within the 2nd XV squad and has trained hard during the early stages of pre-season.

MOST RESPECTED OPPONENT - Ed Rees

GREATEST PERSONAL RUGBY EXPERIENCE - Playing for Beddau 2nds winning the Ivor Williams cup and the League. And I played for Canada youth they were desperate for a winger against Pontyclun so I stepped up.

MOST VAIN PLAYER IN SQUAD & WHY? Callum O’Sullivan, thinks he’s lady’s man with those shades on, but he is cool I suppose.

MOST TALENTED PLAYER EVER PLAYED WITH? Rhys Williams Wales winger and Cardiff Blues Captain. We were in class together in school.

MOST TALENTED PLAYER PLAYED AGAINST? Andrew Howard aka Dog best scrum half ever played for Pontyclun, Cowbridge and Cowbridge school. He was part of the District youth side that beat Wales youth in 1996. He turned out for Llandaff seconds and they needed a win and I knew once I saw him we were screwed.

FAVOURITE GROUND THAT YOU HAVE PLAYED ON? Would have been Ponty hint, hint, but has to be Beddau International.

HOBBIES - Basketball and trying to kill my self on a motorbike.

FAVOURITE FOOD - anything without Onions, Lettuce, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Mushrooms.

FAVOURITE DRINK - Red Bull makes me Fast

FAVOURITE TV PROGRAMME - Super Girl

MUSIC ENJOY LISTENING TO - Trance, Kris Hill I used to manage Evolution in Cardiff I had to be dragged out of club one.
