Despite a fantastic effort particularly in the first forty minutes at an extremely wet, windy and cold Pontypool Park, Beddau were beaten 44-6 by run away National Championship league leaders Pontypool.
Most games would have been called off in those conditions but both sides put on a good display to keep a decent crowd entertained.
More injury concerns for the Green and Golds as both wingers Cody Baker and James Grainger were forced off with injuries. With twenty players already ruled out of yesterdays game with injuries or other commitments it doesn't get much easier.
On the plus side Regan Wilson stood out in his first start and second team players Ryan Phillips, Gareth Hopkins and 18 year old Iwan Dawes stood up to the challenge.
Hywel Chatham scored Beddau's points through two penalties as they went into half time only 14-6 down.
