Our Youth will re-start their Blues Championship North campaign with a “home” fixture at Merthyr’s Wern ground against a good Brecon outfit tomorrow.

The game will be part of an early afternoon festival of under 19s rugby and will be a good test for the young Green and Golds against a Brecon outfit who have just one league defeat to their name this season.

Beddau currently occupy fifth spot in the table which is a place and three points lower than Brecon. The Powys outfit recently pushed unbeaten leaders Ystrad Rhondda to the wire before being pipped 22-17. They have recorded wins at home to Ynysybwl (20-12) and away to Gwernyfed (29-20).

Beddau will  be looking to get their second league win of the season and transfer the good performances into winning points.

Kick off at the Wern is 12pm and the match referee is Mr Martyn Kellegar.
