Youth Looking To Complete Double

Our Youth XV will be going all out tomorrow to compete a memorable season double.

After claiming the Blues North Trophy Tier One league title at the start of April they will look to add the Blues North Plate to the cabinet as they travel to the Wern ground, home of Merthyr RFC, to take on a talented Dowlais outfit.

The young Green and Golds will come up against a side who too have had a very good season. Dowlais finished second in the early season Blues North Conference league where they lost just one of their seven games and have also competed strongly in the Blues North Championship Trophy Tier One league.

The two teams have met once already this season and Beddau came out on top in the heads of the valleys by 31-3 but tomorrows fixture will for sure be far closer and our young side will again have to be at the top of their game if they are to pick up the trophy.

Everybody at the Club send out their best wishes to our Youth XV players, coaches and back room staff and congratulate you on what has already been a fantastic season.

A supporters bus will be running from the Club. If you wish to travel then please contact Gower Jenkins or pop in the Clubhouse to book your place.

Kick-off is 2.30pm and the match officials are referee Mr Dan Jeffery, AR1 Adrian Harry, AR2 Wayne Lewis, AR4 Jason Matthews and AR5 Neil Powell.
