Our Youth XV were crowned Blues North Trophy Tier One Champions yesterday after a fantastic 20-7 win over a very good Ynysybwl outfit at Mount Pleasant Park.
The young Green and Golds scored three excellent tires through Travis Warhurst, Jac Rogers and Cameron Ellis with Kalum Bundy kicking a conversion and a penalty.
This result means that they will be league champions with one game still to play and that is away at Gilfach Goch next weekend. They could also go on to become Double winners as they are scheduled to play in the Blues North Trophy final against Dowlais on May 11th at a venue to be confirmed.
This success has been built on hard work by the players and the coaches with an incredible turnaround in performances and attitude since Christmas and with such a young squad further success is surely just around the corner.
Pictured are some of the squad celebrating yesterday's success.
Well done to everyone involved.
