Our 1st XV will be in action this evening in the quarter finals of this years Worthington Mid District Cup with high flying Ystrad Rhondda the visitors to Mount Pleasant Park.
This will be a stern challenge for the Green and Golds who beat Dowlais 43-17 in the last round of this competition.
Ystrad have been arguably the team of the year in the District this season. Having won promotion to the Championship, they have lost just four games and currently sit in a fantastic second spot in the table. They beat a good Brecon side 28-5 in the last round.
The teams have met once this season in the Championship and it was Ystrad who came out on top scoring a late try to win 20-17.
Beddau have a few niggling injury concerns and are likely to give several squad members a chance to put their hands up for selection for the big league fixture at Newcastle Emlyn next weekend.
Kick off is 7.15pm.
