November Games

With the Autumn Internationals kicking off in a few days time, there is disruption to fixtures for the three senior teams at the Club.

The 1st XV have a stop start few weeks but they do have some big games. On Saturday November 10th Newbridge will be the visitors to Mount Pleasant Park in the National Championship. The Green and Golds will be hoping to put in a similar performance to the one they put in against Newcastle Emlyn on the weekend but they know Newbridge will be a real stern test. Then on Thursday November 15th, there will be a visit to the heads of the Valleys to face Dowlais in the Worthington Mid District Cup 1st round. A venue where there is  never an easy game.

The fixtures for the 1st XV in November are concluded on Saturday November 24th when they make the shortest of trips to our rivals and friends Rhydyfelin in another Championship tie. Beddau will be keen to wrestle back the bragging rights that weekend after Rhydyfelin took the spoils in last years fixtures.

The 2nd XV have a blank November at present but the deadly duo of Mal Davies and Mal O'Sullivan are working hard to get Friday night friendly fixtures played and keep their squad of players playing.

The Youth XV have just the one fixture penciled in at present and that is against Brecon at Merthyr's Wern ground on Saturday November 10th in the Blues Championship. There is a possibility of another game to be played during the month but that will be posted in due course.

Our mini and junior section fixtures will continue as normal through the month.

* All kick off times for the above to be confirmed.
