Our Youth XV will be looking for another good performance this Saturday when they entertain Ospreys league outfit Bryncethin.

The young Green and Golds put on one of their best performances of the season last weekend as they recorded an excellent 29-12 win at a Machen outfit who were unbeaten in the Dragons league this season.

Bryncethin will be another stern challenge though as they too have had a very good start to the season. They play in the Ospreys East Division and have won five of their eight fixtures so far. Amongst their wins were emphatic performances and results over Bridgend Sports (37-0), Nantymoel (51-0) and Cwmavon (50-22).

Beddau were due to face Dowlais in the Blues Trophy this weekend but this game will now be re-arranged for later in the season at the request of the heads of the valleys outfit. This means Beddau’s first Blues trophy fixture will now be at home to Gwernyfed on February 9^th.
