Our Youth XV recorded their second consecutive Blues North Trophy success on Saturday with an impressive 19-0 win over a good Gwernyfed outfit at Mount Pleasant Park.
There was a massive effort in the first period from the young Green and Golds as they battled the elements to hold the visitors and go into the break at 0-0. In the second half, Beddau showed their new found maturity and totally dominated the game with a great kicking game and patience in their attacking plays.
Iuaen Williams and Jack Rogers crossed the whitewash and they were also awarded the seven point penalty try to go with a Kallum Bundy conversion.
This performance left the coaching and back room staff very happy and means they are unbeaten in the Blues Trophy this season. The next trophy game is scheduled for March 2nd at home to Ynysybwl.
